Hartbeespoort Dam: Seeing the Sights

When I visited my boyfriend’s father in Johannesburg last year, I tried to make a point of seeing some tourist spot or attraction each and every day. One day we went to a few shopping malls that I wanted to go to. Another day, we spent the entire day at Gold Reef City and gambled in the casino, rode the theme park rides and had lunch and dinner there. Yet another day we went to the Cradle of Human Kind and explored the caves there and learned about our ancestors. Of course, there are still a lot of places that I did not get around to seeing, so I have lots more to do when I go visit there again. One of the places that we did not get to go to was the hartbeespoort lodges and another was the Soweto Towers, where you can bungee jump from. Gauteng offers its visitors plenty to do.
