Diamonds are a girl's best friend

i am a glitter bling-hoarder. Most of the time, I cannot bear to part with my jewel blings.
Hence, i try to maximise and stretch a piece of prima bling as far as i can.
Here's what i like to do : i snip parts of the crystal swirls and use part of it and save the remainder for another project...



The store carries a large variety of glitter jewels. Here are some of my current favourites which can be used in parts. You can even mix colours ! have fun experimenting....

A small challenge. . .

I am the first to admit, that it's hard to limit myself to using one, yes, only one single flower on my layout. That almost seems impossible most of the time, especially when I take out my "Prima Basket"! Just looking and fondling those gorgeous-ness is just heaven. Most of the time, I will not be able to choose just one to enhance my layout.

So a few days go, I set a challenge to myself. To use a single Prima on my layout. At that time, that very sentence seems like a huge challenge to me, the flower addict! Then. . . I come across these!



How perfect are those? They're a stunner! Each and every one of them. Then I did this layout (inspired by OLW), and used only one, single Prima on it.

I personally think that one single flower is perfect where it is. Here is one close up :)


So, yes, you guessed it. My 'small' challenge to you is. . . use one single flower on your layout! Easy-peasy, eh?!! Link them here and you might win yourself some Prima Painterly Petals. June's Prima Princess

In the spotlight, our reigning princess for the month of June is...'scrappychic'!! I love her amazing use of clustering and layering the flowers without it looking out of place. All the different flowers that were you used also go so well together! so wonderful :)

And to all you other prima lovers out there this could be you next month! To enter follow these guidlines:

1.You must use the Cafe Prima flower kits! However, it does not have to be the current months kit, just make sure to let us know in the description what months kit you did use.

2.You must have at least 2 small flowers or one extra large flower on any layout or project for it to be considered

3. Layouts/projects must be entered into the "User-submission general" gallery. You may be required to make a free account with us if you haven't already, for posting access.

4.To be considered, layouts and projects must be posted to the gallery by the 31st of each month. (ex: to be considered for the month of July, layouts need to be in by June 31st) Feel free to post as many layouts as you like!

5.Make sure to check back the first week of the month to see if you are the choosen one!

The next "Cafe Prima Princess" will be announced the first week of July, so dont wait-go out and create!
